Catherine Milam draws inspiration for her books from many years' experience working in early childhood classrooms. She is passionate not only about helping children grow physically, emotionally, and cognitively, but also about helping parents and grandparents understand why children do what they do. She is herself a mother of three daughters Amber, Melissa and Felicia also the grandmother of one grandson Ramaris Jr that fills her life with joy.
