L. Michele, a Miami Florida native, has been writing for over 20 years. She received her first copyright in 1996 for a series of Children's Stories that she had won several literary awards for in Middle School and High School. Upon completing High School and giving birth to her son, she went on to college to become a Crime Scene Investigator. She worked for different law enforcement agencies in the Miami area, until she decided to pursue her passion for writing and poetry, which was inspired by her many experiences in the crime scene investigation field.
