Mr. Michaels was a teacher in the New Jersey public school system for over thirty years. He has always maintained that children learn best when they become involved. He has been recognized by two United States Presidents, three New Jersey Governors, Secretary of State General Colin Powell, local parent-teacher organizations, and local and state officials for the programs and activities he created.
