K S Michaels is a survivor of over twenty-nine heart surgeries due to a rare congenital heart disease. He is a doting husband and a proud daddy. When not writing novels, he spends much of his donated time as a motivational speaker helping parents of behaviorally challenged adolescent children, and victims of the chronically ill at various hospitals and colleges. He offers accolades to Loma Linda International Heart Institute and Long Beach Memorial hospital for saving his life on more than one occasion.
