R. Michael was born in Merrillville, IN, and grew up in rural Minnesota. He has aspired to become a writer since he was twelve years old and works toward that goal daily. Fantasy and Science Fiction are his passion, and he loves to get lost in a new world. A dedicated family man, he spends his time taking care of his family's needs. He has one son and is happily married to his editor.
