Halloween Stew is Jane's first published children's book. Originally it was written for her five grandchildren who enjoyed it so much that they wanted copies for their friends. That original book provided the kernel for Mean-Witch-Me to expand her Halloween Stew story. Needing an illustrator she knew she wanted her friend Cecilia Blomberg, a renowned tapestry artist, to capture the story. With Cecilia's whimsical touch the story developed even more.
