Messikommer, Alfred

Rene Meyer's parents emigrated to the US in 1958. He had no option but to go along with them since he was only 9 years old. In December 1990 his composition "Canti Svizzeri" was performed at the Reformed Church in Uster and broadcast live over Swiss Public Radio. He visits his relatives-both on the Messikommer side and the Meyer side-on a regular basis. In September 2015 he will have vacationed on the Pfaffikersee only a few kilometers from Heinrich of 1493's homestead.
