Stacia Mers is a vibrant eight year old girl who is currently in the 3rd grade. She was diagnosed at the age of six with medulloblastoma - a form of brain cancer - and underwent 14 months of successful treatment including radiation and chemotherapy. Her interests and hobbies include music, art, reading, horseback riding, swimming, skiing, and knee boarding. She is actively involved in Girl Scouts and loves hanging out with her friends.
