Mary Cooney lived and worked with her husband Tom in Guatemala for nearly twenty years. An artist, teacher and writer, Mary has written devotionals children's books, the Journey Bible study series and the story of Maria Carillo, Daughter of California. Mary has painted since High School, but it was when life was extremely stressful that she picked it up again in the 1990's. Mary has had the opportunity to travel to Spain, Israel and England so far, and enjoys the inspiration for creativity these trips give her. Mary now lives in Santa Rosa California.
