Frank Ayres, Jr., Ph.D. (deceased) was formerly Professor and Head of the Department of Mathematics at Dickinson College, Carlisle, Pennsylvania. He is the coauthor of Schaum s Outline of Calculus, Schaum s Outline of Trigonometry, and Schaum s Outline of Mathematics. Elliott Mendelson (Roslyn, NY) is Professor of Mathematics at Queens College, CUNY. He is the coauthor of Schaum s Outline of Calculus and author of Schaum s Outline of Beginning Calculus.
