Mena, Pat

Pat Mena was born and raised in El Paso, Texas. She graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso with a bachelor's degree in education. Pat and her husband, Willie, currently live in El Paso where they raised their three sons. After teaching elementary school as a bilingual teacher for 26 years, she retired and began her encounters in writing. Her book, You'll Be Fine, Darling is a true story about her son's struggle with PTSD, post-traumatic stress disorder.
