Born in Jersey City, New Jersey in June 1948 the author was raised in a Catholic environment never to understand what his religion was all about. The author's questions to those in the Church and the educational system responsible for his upbringing fell upon deaf ears and/or he was made to feel that he was an annoyance for asking questions that were generally, at least to the authorities, understood to have no answers.
