Mike McNulty is a child of the South except for a brief sojourn in New Jersey, where he lost his Southern accent. His life was shaped by the small town voices and thoughts that inhabit his writing. Whether about matters of race, faith, or family crisis, his writing walks among the gravestones in the cemetery and on the banks of the river to see where real people live and breathe. He is a psychotherapist, a former Methodist minister, and a writer. He lives in Alpharetta, Georgia.
