McNeil, Tommie

Tommie McNeil was born in Galveston, Texas on December 8, 1950. He grew up in Hitchcock, Texas and graduated from Hitchcock High School in 1969. He attended Alvin Jr. College in Alvin, Texas and American University in Washington, D.C. He got his two hundred and seventy education hours for Drug and Alcohol Abuse Counseling at Alvin Community College in 1975. He has traveled to Canada, Mexico, Jamaica, Grand Cayman Island and nineteen countries in Europe. He received the Martin Luther King Jr. Award in 2007 and the Village Gatekeeper Award in 2012.
