McLain, Ron

Ron McLain, Founder & Executive Director, Healthy Marriage Coalition, was born and raised in Yakima, Washington, where he met and married his high school sweetheart, Joan, in 1969. Ron graduated from San Jose State University in 1974, after which he joined the staff of Campus Crusade for Christ, serving for seven years with its athletic arm, Athletes in Action. Ordained as a minister of the gospel in 1985, Ron also went on to receive an MA in biblical counseling from Tyndale Theological Seminary and Biblical Institute.
