MARK MCKOY 1992 OLYMPIC CHAMPION Born in Georgetown, Guyana in 1961. Mark was 12 years old when his family immigrated to Canada in 1974, settling in Toronto, Ontario. Mark broke onto the scene at the age of 18, qualifying for the 1980 Olympic Games in Moscow (which were boycotted). At age 20, he represented Canada at the Commonwealth Games in Brisbane, Australia, 1982, and won the Gold Medal in the 110-metre hurdles.
