McKairnes, Jim

Born and raised in Philadelphia, Jim McKairnes is a writer, TV executive, and college instructor who lives in the Los Angeles area. He has held the posts of Senior Vice-President, Program Planning and Scheduling, CBS Television Network (1993-2006) and Senior Vice-President, Strategy and Development, CBS Studios (2008-2010), among others in broadcast- and cable-television. He has also served as an adjunct faculty member at De Paul University in Chicago and a guest-lecturer at colleges nationwide. And he is author of 103 WAYS TO GET INTO TV (BY 102 WHO DID, PLUS ME).
