CHRISTINE H. McGUIRE is Professor Emerita in the Department of Medical Education at the University of Illinois College of Medicine, Chicago, where she served as Associate Director and Head of Research and Evaluation from 1961 to 1987. She is internationally known as a lecturer and consultant to medical schools and certifying bodies.
