McGinnis, Michael Vincent

Michael Vincent McGinnis is Associate Professor at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies in Monterey, California. For fifteen years he directed the Ocean and Coastal Policy Center at UC Santa Barbara. At MIIS, McGinnis teaches courses in public policy and the environment, natural science foundations of environmental policy, international marine policy, and sustainable coastal management. He is the editor of "Bioregionalism" (Routledge, 1999 and 2005) and author of "Marine Governance: The New Zealand Experience "(Victoria University Press, 2012).
