Dr. McFadden taught at Bridgewater College from 1961-1998 and became the first person to hold the title of "Anna B. Mow Endowed Professor and Chair of the Department of Philosophy and Religion." Many students and colleagues likely even knew of Anna B. Mow as an advocate of youth, peace, and interfaith understanding. During that time, he also administered the creation of a peace studies minor at the College.
