Katy McDermott has written four adult whodunits, a young adult novella, and a collection of humor essays. Astray is her first children's book. With it and its 5 planned sequels, she hopes to show how wonderful those scared, barky, jump-up-y shelter dogs really are. She lives outside Philadelphia with her husband, three cats, and one extra-vocal Yorkiepoo.
