McDaniel, Janet Scott

Janet Scott McDaniel, born in Catonsville, Maryland began writing poetry at age 15, but recently emerged from a 25 year hiatus to resume her life as a poet. She has an Associate of Arts degree in fine art, and a Bachelors of Arts degree in psychology from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Her fine art and psychology background manifests itself in her work because she is very attuned to the visual imagery while deftly crafting the words to evoke emotion.
