Shawn-a-lee McCutcheon-Bell lives and writes in Cumbria, England. Mum to five children, she is married to local poet Stephen Bell. Born January 7, 1966 in Barrie, Ontario, Canada, she first began writing at a young age. Schooling herself in the fine art of horror by staying up late to watch Chiller Thriller Theatre and pinching King books from her mum. Eventually, she went off to college and studied creative communications.
