Matzke, Michael

Michael Matzke is head of the Munzkabinett of the Historisches Museum Basel, and former Assistant Keeper of the Department of Coins and Medals of the Fitzwilliam Museum. He teaches medieval history at the University of Freiburg/Breisgau. His publications on Italian numismatics include 'Vom Ottolinus zum Grossus: Munzpragung in der Toskana vom 10. bis zum 13.
