Originally from Hungary, Zoltan Matrahazi has been on the road from early on, having grown up and lived in several countries on three continents. He first visited the Sinai in 1992, but only settled there in 2005. Nature and culture have always been in his focus along his travels, and he has found both in and around St. Katherine. He lived in the Jabaleya Bedouin community on an ongoing basis until 2011.
