Dr Mary Mather is a retired Community Paediatric Consultant with a special interest in FASD. She served as chair of the BAAF Health Advisory Panel for 5 year, wrote the text book, "Doctors for Children in Care" and is currently a Trustee of The FASD Trust. She and her husband live in London; they have 5 grown-up children, 3 of whom are also doctors. Julia Brown is an adoptive mum of two children.
