Zoran Maslic is an award-winning underground filmmaker from Canada known for his feature length documentary trilogy In the City of Exile Kings (When You Die as a Cat, Nobody Knows My Songs, and Annoying.) His film When You Die as a Cat received a Golden Pre-Colombian Circle prize for the best social documentary at the 2010 Bogota Film Festival and was honoured at the Festival Temps d'Images in Lisbon (2009.) He also directs music videos (Zoran Maslic, YouTube.) In 2014, he produced and released a folk punk album called Duct Tape Rose by Chad Fontaine. This is Maslic's first novel.
