Martinez, Jose F.

Jose Martinez was introduced to Christian ministry by Samuel Vila. In 1943 the founder of what would become Editorial CLIE made him a leader in the Baptist Church Vila pastored in Terrassa. In 1948 Martinez was invited to pastor a Baptist church in Barcelona, a position that he filled for 30 fruitful years. He resigned the pastorate in 1979 for health reason and devoted himself to writing and teaching and work with various evangelical ministry organizations. He has edited various Christian magazines and has served as president of the Spanish Evangelical Alliance among other evangelical groups....
