Marshall-Stephen, Imani

Imani Marshall-Stephen is a New York City native, born and raised. She graduated from Spelman College in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and from Kennesaw State University in 2012 with a Master of Arts in Professional Writing. Although she is a multi-genre writer, poetry is her first love. Unspoken is her first published collection of poems. Besides writing poetry, Imani enjoys yoga, good food, great conversation, and her best friend and husband, Ostus.
