Rachael Stephen has a degree in philosophy from the University of Glasgow for some reason, and started writing her first book at age 11. It consisted of a girl sitting on a beach doing nothing. Since then she has progressed to girls standing on rooftops doing heroic things. She is in love with coffee, Wonder Woman, good books, space, breakfast, mythology, stationary, knitting, abandoned places and sparkly gold things. She lives in a flat by the Clyde river, with her partner and dog Elfie.
