After 40 years as a dental school Professor, the author retired; he and his wife sold their home and moved to North Carolina in order to be close to their Granddaughter, Kristi. Granddaddy and Kristi spent many hours together in the car and she often said, "Tell me a story, Granddaddy." The stories he told her were about the stuffed animals that were part of her "family."
