Professor Margoliss main interests are in the philosophy of the human sciences, the theory of knowledge and interpretation, aesthetics, philosophy of mind, American philosophy, and pragmatism. Professor Margolis is the Laura H. Carnell Professor of Philosophy, Past-President of the American Society for Aesthetics, Honorary President and Lifetime Member of the International Association of Aesthetics.
