The late Stephen March's published books include the novels Armadillo, Catbird, Strangers in the Land of Egypt, and Hatteras Moon, as well as a collection of stories, Love to the Spirits. Armadillo won the Texas Review Press Prize in the Novella. Love to the Spirits won the Independent Publisher Award for Short Fiction for 2005, and Catbird was chosen as a Book Sense Notable by the American Booksellers Association.
