Mantheakis, Alexis

Alexis Mantheakis was born in Tanga in Tanzania and grew up in Kenya. He studied English Literature and Creative Writing at Stanford University. He has written articles for numerous publications, including Vanity Fair and Esquire, and has been interviewed by the Sunday Times, the Guardian, CNN, the BBC, NBC, the History Channel, Playboy, USA Today, People magazine, Al Jazeera, and others. 'SONGHOR An African Saga' is his third book. Alexis Mantheakis lives near Athens with his wife, a well-known Greek writer of historical novels.
