Nefretiti A. Morant was born in the United Kingdom to Barbadian Parents. Nefretiti always loved reading and writing poetry. In 2004 she graduated from The University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelors in Psychology. Nefretiti worked for New York City's Department of Social Services for ten years before deciding to pursue her passion for writing full time. In 2012 Armed with lots of ambition and a desire to create beauty with her words Nefretiti started a poetry blog on her popular website; www.nefretitim.com.
