Malec, Elena

Elena Malec was born in Bucharest, Romania in 1954. She holds a MA in modern languages and literatures from the University of Bucharest. She translated from George Bacovia's poetry, published in Barcelona, Spain in Cuaderns Crema in 1984. Elena published literary criticism in Romania, poetry, prose, essay in the United States. Elena lives with her husband in Southern California where she dedicates to writing, painting, making rag dolls and fine cooking.
