Tariq Mahmood graduated in 2000 with a British Sign Language (BSL)/English degree and soon registered as a fully qualified Registered Sign Language Interpreter (RSLI). To date he remains the only British-Asian, male Muslim, Registered and Qualified, Sign Language Interpreter in the UK!
