Madden, Frederick

FREDERICK MADDEN was Professorial Fellow at Nuffield College, Oxford, from 1958 to 1984, and held the university post of reader in Commonwealth Government for all but one of the twenty-eight years of its existence./e He has now published eight volumes with Greenwood covering the constitutional history of the British Empire and the Commonwealth from the 12th century to the end of the 20th century.
