Christopher R. Madan is a Ph.D. candidate (Ph.D. expected April 2014) in the Department of Psychology at the University of Alberta, Canada. Chris' research focuses on human memory, where he utilizes a variety of approaches, including behavioral, neuroimaging, mathematical modeling, and psychophysiology. Over the last few years he has published a number of papers, with an emphasis on the influences of emotion, reward, and movement on memory. Chris also often lectures on these topics, particularly on the effects of emotion on memory, cognitive neuroscience, and mathematical models of memory.
