KYO MACLEAR was born in London and grew up in Toronto as the only child of a foreign correspondent. While Stray Love is entirely a work of fiction, it is informed by Kyo s experience of living with a father who was quizzing her on the names of world capitals by the time she was seven. Her first novel, The Letter Opener, was awarded the K.M. Hunter Artists Award and nominated for the Amazon.ca/Books in Canada First Novel Award and the Evergreen Award.
