After graduating university, Chris MacAuslane became the youngest civilian historian in the United States Air Force. He specialized in the Air Reserve Component, special operations, and space operations. He broadened his interest and study in foreign militaries with a keen interest in those forces such as the Swiss Guard who serve foreign masters.
