The author has seventeen years of law enforcement experience. He has worked patrol, community oriented policing, police misconduct investigations, fugitive investigations, parental kidnappings, missing persons, crime patrol, narcotics, robbery, gangs, and served as active shooter team leader. Currently, the author serves as an advisor to the Afghanistan National Police on a Special Operations Task Force.
