Laurie Lunsford is a former elementary school art teacher. She is now the Interactive Arts Specialist at an Alzheimer's Unit. As a musician, artist, and writer, she promotes the arts in healthcare wherever she goes. She developed a music program for children and it found a niche with Alzheimer's patients. Dancing Hands, Tap Dancing Rhythm for Your Hands, consists of a box of rhythm instruments and an activity book with music CDs for use in group music interaction.
