Rachel Lucas was born and raised in the beautiful Utah area. She had the opportunity to travel throughout the United States and live in many places. She returned to her beloved Utah where she has been raising her three sons and writing every moment of her spare time. Her first book was inspired by a close friendship she had as a young girl with the real Elizabeth Marshall. Many of the details in the book were based on actual facts and events.
