Lucas, James

James Lucas (1973) was born in Stuttgart, Germany and moved to Corbett, Oregon at age two where he currently resides with his wife, Indy Lucas. His brother Jeff Lucas (1971-2005) was also born in Stuttgart, Germany. Jeff was 18 months older than James and they were best friends growing up. Jeff Lucas became a Navy Seal and was killed June 28, 2005 during a rescue mission in Afghanistan. Jeff was chosen as the main character of this book because he was a true hero in life.
