Jane Lovering began writing before the midwife had slapped her and has continued despite other people s attempts to slap her. She lives in North Yorkshire, UK with her partner, bringing up five children in a large, damp mound of ruralness, with four cats, two irrepressible dogs, a repressed horse, guinea-pigs, and various other forms of life, vertebrate, invertebrate and fungal.
