JOHN-PAUL LOTZ Dr John-Paul Lotz was born and raised in Zurich, Switzerland to parents who were American Baptist missionaries in Eastern Europe in the 1970's. He grew up in the Washington, D.C. area and attended the University of Richmond. After obtaining his Master of Divinity from Beeson Divinity School, he went on to complete four units in Clinical Pastoral Education at Baptist Health System in Birmingham, Alabama and was ordained as a Virginia Baptist pastor at his home church, Columbia Baptist.
