Long, Miriam

Miriam A. Long grew up on a farm in Northwest Indiana during the Depression. Animals have always surrounded her, and enriched her life. Miriam raised three daughters, who also share her love of animals. Her extensive portfolio includes organization and creativity in public service. Her talents took her through a variety of clerical and administrative positions. She served her community as Emergency Management Director prior to retirement. Today, she enjoys spending time with her family, including all their pets, as well as volunteering in her church community.
