A love of sewing naturally evolved into quiltmaking for Eula Mae Long. Her mother taught her to sew when she was old enough to hold a needle and thread. Eula took four years of sewing in high school, as well as every adult education sewing class offered after she was married. Her first attempt at quilting was when her grandchild was born, and she has not stopped quilting since. Residing in Oregon, Eula teaches quilt classes and has discovered a love of designing applique patterns.
