Lochhead, Douglas

Douglas Lochhead (1922-2011) was born in Guelph, ON. In 1975 he was appointed Davidson Professor of Canadian Studies at Mount Allison University; he is now Professor Emeritus. He is a Senior Fellow and Founding Librarian at Massey College, University of Toronto. From 1989 to 1997, he was President of Goose Lane Editions. "High Marsh Road" was shortlisted for the 1980 Governor General's Award. "Weathers: Poems New & Selected" (2002) is his most recent collection.
